Corrections are genuinely welcome. If a figure here is wrong, we would rather be told.

Reporting a correction

This is the message we most want to receive. To make it fixable quickly, include:

  • The page and the reference number, e.g. SRPD65 on the under-$500 roundup
  • The figure or claim you believe is wrong
  • Where the correct information is published, if you know

Material corrections — a specification, a price mechanism, a factual claim that would change a decision — are made on the page and dated. The corrections policy is here.

What we cannot help with

Valuations and authentication. We cannot tell you what a watch is worth or whether a specific example is genuine from a photograph. Our guide to spotting a counterfeit covers the checks you can run yourself, and a Seiko service center can identify a movement in minutes.

Servicing and repairs. We are a reference site, not a workshop. Seiko’s own customer service handles warranty work, and an independent watchmaker handles everything else.

Paid placement. We do not accept it, so there is nothing to discuss. Independence policy.

Spring & Dial is published by Type 5 Marketing LLC. It is a publication rather than a retailer — there is no shop, no premises and no phone line, which is why there is no address or number on this page. We are not going to invent one.
